It's never going to feel like an Evo and while I still miss mine, I don't miss all the attention from ricers, cops etc. The jb4 alone didn't cut it for me either so then I purchased catless downpipes and a Helix intercooler and I'm very content with how it drives. It still is a tad behind in terms of power from my previous Evo 9 on E85, but not that far off. Just a few days ago I put some race gas and switched to map 7 on the jb4 and that is where the fun begins in my honest opinion...then again I may just be a speed demon.

I know you hate meth, but seriously if youre looking for that kind of power youre not going be anywhere near w/o it.

i'd say when you put on the downpipes you will get a whole lot of torque then you have now. it might feel like a stock turbo evo.

i remember even putting a downpipe on my evo and how much more torqey it felt. do it!!!

You might also want to consider replacing at least the midpipes to delete the 2 cats and baffled reasonator, I haven't done DPs yet but I did a full Berk Exhaust w/ JB4+DCI and the midpipes def. made some difference, my car feels very strong and it'll def. spin the tires in 2nd gear from time to time on non runflat 255 RE050's on map 1.

You may want to try and stick with one map for at least 2-3 days at a time and give it time to adapt and see how you like it, before switching.

I can feel considerable gains from my JB4 and BMS DCI. Just let the car adjust for a few days, and it will start to feel better. Also from my personal experience switching between different maps all the time seems to mess with the car a bit, so find a map you like and let the car adjust to that. If you get more mods, you will really start to feel the power increase. You should look into getting some DP (catless). Then set it to map 5, and you will really notice a difference. Then if you are looking for more acceleration get an exhaust system next.
