fair enough
I was planning to use it for purposes beyond the tune upload. The V3 is way too sweet for me to throw in the glove box. Well at least I don't want to do that at first

The problem with leaving the AP connected is that it will constantly draw power when the car isn't on. If you want disconnect it every time you stop the car for an extended period of time, then the left vent area seems to be a popular spot and the OBDII cable doesn't need to cross the footwell. A lot of people use a universal cell phone holder that has a width adjustment.

+1 for the glovebox. Unless you are on the track, there is very little use it Day to day. Just looks tacky IMHO. If you absolutely need to see your boost levels, check out the P3 vent gauge. Subtle look, and all the features you could ever want, plus some

actually that is not a problem with the Cobb V3, it has an on/off switch

The Cobb AP is tacky?
Hmmm
well it seems like a waste of $400 on a P3 vent gauge when I have a V3 AP that already does the same thing and more actually. It makes the car faster LOL

Didn't realize they added an on/off switch. My mistake.
