According to KW, the drop for the V* is 30~55 front, and 25~55 rear. However, they just specify "E82" which could include cars other than the 135i which may have a higher ride height to start. A 20mm drop on a 135i would be perfect.

what the heck?! i agree with you balls, 15mm to 20mm is more than good enough - too much more and i think its an overkill. as it is i think the m suspension lowers the 135 enough.

what is this obsession with lowering anyway? i wish it were possible to concentrate on uncompromising perfection in rebound damping without screwing around with lowering.

^+1!

I just want it to stick to corners and inspire confidence to throw it hard into bends, stay settled and not pitch, dive and squat (so much) as typical with OEM suspensions. The lowering is something that helps high speed stability a bit which I no complaints about, but for a road car you have to live with road conditions which aren't always friendly to lowered cars. Therefore, the minimal lowering the better is my rule.

I think I'll email KW today and ask if the 30/55F, 25/55R lowering allies to the 135i also (vs. other E82 variants).

balls, the german version of the kw website says those figures apply to the E82 so i'd guess that there is a high probability that those are the lowering values that would apply. that said, the productfinder does not list the clubsports for the E82 so it may be incorrect information.
