He did the M3 cluster. I like the M3 cluster, but I would rather have the 1M since it has the same motor and same rpm range. I know it would probably be difficult getting my hands on a 1M cluster though as I'm sure I would have to have a 1M VIN to get it. I also wonder how much the coding would cost me.

I would love to have one to replace the boring stock one on 135i. I can't believe BMW put that gauge cluster on 40K car ;(

Another gauge cluster = a low mileage car lol. Wait does the odometer go with the whole gauge cluster? Or is the mileage saved in the cpu...

It does not work like that... LOL i guess most would...

mileage saved for display in multiple areas.

New clusters are purchased and they are blank... once coded they know what to display.

+1 on that

the mileage is saved in way more areas.
you install the gauge and it loads the mileage from another source.

in both cases I had no difference between before and after.

but it was a major pain to get the m3 gauge fitted.
the 1m gauge was a direct replacement.

stupid question. Why cant you just take off the front plastic and make some grey stickers to put over your 135 cluster?

Its the same in all other regards.
