Montego blue still eluding me.
Have yet to see a 1-series in it. Saw it on a base model 3 series and thought it made it look like a Pontiac GrandAm, then on a Z4 Coupe with sport package it looked fantastic. Go figure.

I agree. The 3 series didn't look as good as the Z4 I saw at the Welt in Munich. The Z4 (inside building) looked very rich and deep, I originally thought it was Lemans blue. The Montego seems to really take on different characteristics with different light like some other BMW metallics (SGM and Sedona).

Yeah, it is one of those colors that are a tough choice. In some pics it looks fantastic. In others it looks way to bright for me. I figured it would be cool and I would LOVE it for about 6 months. Then it would get old for me and I would HATE it. Thats why I opted for SGM. I loved it, and I think it will stick with me since its not too flashy. Good luck with your choice, color is a tough one!!

SGM is my fallback option. I also like Crimson Red which I have seen on a 135 and it looked really great, but like you said, I may get tired of it in 6 months.

There are at least 4 or 5 Montego 1ers rolling around DFW. I've yet to see fellow 1 on the road at all, but you might increase your chances if you head up 45.
I'm extremely happy with the color, but blue has always been my color of choice for autos. |

Yeah, I saw his Montego when it was behind tinted windows at the dealer haha. I do think a base non-sport 328 with Montego doesn't look as good, but I've seen 335s with that color and love it. Plus, Crowley's 135 looks great as well. I also parked next to a Montego Z4 Coupe this past weekend (BMW Ultimate Drive event) and it looked great. SGM is also a good choice and is actually my 2nd favorite of the options.
