Will these fit without issue on a 128i?

16x7, 30mm offset.

Thanks!

Perhaps will work with a 195/55-16 tyre, but any larger tyre will probably rub, as the offset is about 14mm away from ideal (-44mm for a 16x7 wheel with a 205/55-16 tyre, as a stock BMW fitment).

Thanks. What is the ideal 16" setup? Seems like 16x7.5 with 205/55 is best?

16x7" with a 205/55-16 would be better (7.5" would be on the top end of the tolerance for a 205mm wide tyre), but if you are buying new wheels, I would go for ET45 17x8" wheels with 225/45-17 tyres for the best overall fitment on a 128i.

With 16" wheels, 225/50-16 on a 16x7.5" ET45 wheel would also work, but check for clearance both over the brakes and within the wheel-well.

I have got 17x8" ET45. If buying again I would get 17x8 ET40, especially if fitting 225/45/17 tires all round. I got ET45 so I could put 245/40/17 tires on the rear.

205/55/16 *might* fit at ET30. However its not going to look aggressive, just flush with small wheels which looks a bit odd IMO.
