330i and is250

Today as I was stopping at a red light, I was shockingly side by side with a lexus is 250AWD. Both our cars were white. lol

Any e90 drivers here encounter our lexus competitors yet on the street?

and if someone got pics of a bmw 330i and a lexus IS together- it'll be nice. Post em!

I think aestheticaly the new IS might just be better. It has a nicer exterior and a very nice interior. But 99% of the time it comes down to performance so BMW will make the sale instead of Lexus.

IS lookes like crap! I certainly hope you put him in his place. Even though I only have the 325i 6MT, it is so fun to put those IS250s in my rear view mirror.

I was able to see the new Lexus IS250 at the motor show in Helsinki a few weeks ago. The exterior is fine but the interior didn't impress.
For example, the mirror/window control switches are straight from Toyota or Subaru, they look the same in every Japanese car.
No way the newest Lexus is on par with the E90's or A4's, IMO. I haven't driven it and after seeing it, I don't even care to.

I wonder here, who would really give a fck if a Lexus has a better interior than a BMW? Many people even think that a Mini has better exterior and interior than a Porsche. BMW has never been the winner of car interior design anyway, I thought all the fans already have accepted that, and why bother looking at other cars interiors?

And, with an IS350, they can do it (put an E90 in the rear view mirror). Please give us the 335 to fight back with...

Silly to brag about being faster than the IS250 when you know that its IS350 brother is your actual nemesis. Don't pick on the small guy.

They probably do. Straight line acceleration isn't that fun though, I am convinced I could take an IS350 in a mountain course.

The IS 350 is fast in a straight line.

My buddy was recently looking at both the IS 350 and the 330i (currently drives Acura TL which he totaled--hence the car shopping).

Anyway, after several test drives (4 each) of both he came back and got the 330i. He said the more he test drove the 350 the LESS enamored he became with its drive "feel" and more he drove the 330i the more he could not wait to "get back behind the wheel".

He said the last test drive it was "crystal clear" that the BMW 330i was the all round better performer.

The kicker was on the last test drive he brought his two girls with him (6 and 8) and both hated the back seat of the IS 350. It was cramped even for them! He said after seeing how cramped his kids were in the back of the IS 350 he considered the IS 350 the be a two (2) seater.

So he ended up getting a 330i is Black metallic with premium (tan leather),sport, aluminum trim, auto, cold weather, and spoiler.

A very fine choice!!
