Hmm
Is it just me or does it look like 19" wheels on that car?

I like how you can actually hear the car rather than camera shutters like in the last one.
Man o man... I want one of these. I think by the time they are out I'll have at least 1 small child, so it is going to be a VERY tough argument to not get something larger. LOL. |

That was my thought throughout watching it as well. We may have a new parts bin available soon for those not upgrading to this new car. I will assume that quite a few of the parts that many of us are already sourcing found their way to this car. |

too bad it doesn't sound like the car at 1:03.
It seems a little quite to me to be an ///M car. I hope they work on the sound before production. Just put a 3l V8 in the damn thing with direct injection. T |

I can't wait to see the ring time, and I can't wait to see the body work...this thing has minimal body roll which is amazing

The car virtually has no body roll. I like the suspension.

Agree with the above sentiments on the sound... I REALLY hope they work on that before release. It sounds too muted for an ///M car. Call me blasphemous, but I wouldn't mind another 20lbs or so to add a proper quad setup or add'l piping that made the car sound better. It's a street car anyway and I'd much rather it sound great, than be .00000125 seconds faster around a track.
PS- With all this talk about it paying homage to the BMW 2002, I think it'd be awesome if they did a special center-exit exahust for the ///M1 like that car had. Similar in setup to the Boxster/Cayman. But again, it should sound the part, too.

Although quads would complete this car for me, maybe they're taking it back to E36 days??? It's not much wider than an E36 and I think Quads would overpower the rear bumper but in a good way.

With the wider rear track and fenders than the standard 1er coupe the rear dimensions of the M1 will be similar to the E46 M3 will they not? And that had quads.
Plus quads would break up the wide rear more than a standard setup. I believe I read in another thread that someone had identified the tyres as being R19. |

The heel toe at ~30 sounded fantastic to me.
and to those commenting on the exhaust. Why does it matter what it sounds like stock? Most of us are simply going to buy a new exhaust no? |

I kinda think theyre running the M... whatever it is, with M3s so they drown out the noise of the new car. Makes it harder for us to tell wtf is going on.
