I can install them on my 3er today if I have time but Nick is away for the weekend so I doubt we'll get a chance to install on his car.

You are correct. No LEDs available for us at the moment are anywhere near as bright as the OE bulb.

Right, you have to really decide between output and color. It is difficult to achieve both, even "Hyperwhite" halogen bulbs still have a yellow tint.
