Blue wire hanging in drivers side wheel well
I've been going over my 2013 135i I bought recently inspecting it for anything out of sorts and getting to know it, particularly the suspension in preparation for some upgrades and found this blue wire hanging lose on front drivers side. I'm having trouble finding what it is / parts numbers.

What's weird to me is that I don't have any codes. I'd expect a sensor wire like this hanging to throw a code. I'll get up in there again now that I know what I'm looking for. Thanks!

It doesn't really sense anything other than good or bad. There's a small wire in the bump of the "sensor" that wears through when the pads get too low. If the wire is intact the sensor will just say the pads are good. I have mine zip tied up behind the fender liners.

Speaking of wheel wells....
First time posting. Just purchased a relatively low mileage 128i (e82) and love it! Nice pocket rocket with a lot of potential. Reminds me of the 80's 3 series sedan I had during my younger days. Anyway I digress and I apologize for hijacking this thread. I've been chasing a problem with the driver's side headlight moisture problem on the car. During my inspection, I did find the access panel in the wheel well was slightly ajar, but I also found this area of the wheel well suspect as well. Shouldn't there be a splash panel there where the cutouts are? (Pic taken from engine side of wheel well.)

I can't seem to identify the missing part though, see below: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_6961 Maybe I'm looking in the wrong section...or it's just a part of the wheel well liner and not separate.. |

Post a pic of the wheel well with wheel off? That's strange.
