Alcantra stuff.
Has anyone gone and added Alcantra interior in the US? Recently sat in a friends m3 and he had it everywhere. Not sure why but I really took a liking to it.

I fully plan on doing this when it warms up, I love this stuff, already have the alcantara steering wheel insert, and I have the shift boot and e-brake boot waiting to install in my garage. Just need the alcantara to do the aluminum trim in!
Anybody know the best place to get the alcantara at? Anybody know if they make it in white? I'd love help my dad retrim his boat in this stuff. Edit: Looks like gulf fabrics is the place to get it.

+1...I have the Alcantara steering wheel insert and have ordered the shift boot and ebrake. I was initially going to wrap all the above with with dynoc 3M wrap but decided it was too much. My trim is currently covered with the wrap with exception to the center console...keeping that the original black.

I would say 2-3 yards max. Not much is needed to wrap. But wouldn't it be a nice touch to add a white stitching to it like the performance alcantara or the 1M stitching?

Funny - a friend and I were just talking a couple of days ago about how much we dislike alcantara. Feels terrible, and looks ratty in short order. In fact, I'd be tempted to buy the BMW electronic performance steering wheel, but it's covered in alcantara.
Oh well, to each his own.

I have the alcantara BMW performance wheel and a matching e-brake boot from LeatherZ. I love it and plan on doing more to tie it all together. The Alcantara feels amazing and is warmer in the winter.

Bought it on ebay from carbon 6 composites, color just said black but it's almost an exact match to the performance alcantara. 1yd was enough to do it twice.
