Chicago Service for Modified 1ers?

I could use a recommendation for service for a modified 135i. I have a Cobb and some bolt ons. I live in the north suburbs.

Sadly a racoon decided to commit suicide by Ultimate Driving Machine. The intercooler was busted. I had that replaced but the car is still throwing off error codes. The dealer doesn't want to touch my car because of the mods and the techs there say they can't understand the error codes which they attribute to the tune. I have used a local independent shop which deals with BMWs. He replaced the intercooler but when the check engine light came on afterwards he said to go to a dealer.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

You may be able to figure out what the issue is just by posting the codes. Either here or at n54tech. Could be something simple that you can fix yourself.

I personally go to Rennology in North Aurora or Fluid Motor Union. Some local N54 guys like Performance Solutions in Schaumburg.

Then contact the insurance company and say it was not repaired correctly. Insurance will go after repair shop.

I called the insurance company and they have kept my case open. No problem there...yet.
