For the 2009 model, I see that the HD radio is included with iDrive. Do I still have to pay the extra charge for the HD radio, or is that price encompassed in the price for iDrive?

Hi, I''m not a dealer, but HD radio costs you nothing if you get the Navigation system. It is a no cost option.

Just wanted to throw this out there if anyone had some insight:
I've been shopping around for a manual 135i coupe and there's one in some warehouse here pretty loaded for around 45k. One dealership said it was theirs, but I didn't like the salesman so I went to another and he managed to bring up the same car and claimed it wasn't exclusive to any dealership and that he'd be able to get it as well. He said it was one of the last of the 2008's to be shipped here so it wouldn't last long... I asked them what the difference would be with the 2009 model, and the first salesman said "nothing, they just cost a few thousand more." Skeptical as usual, I searched around and found this forum, and noticed there's quite a few differences... the new iDrive system being the biggest. I also found the wholesale pricing list which is pretty helpful. So I guess my question is, would using the fact that there's a new iDrive for 2009 and having the wholesale pricing list be good bargaining chips for knocking down the price quite a bit? Neither dealerships had any manual 135's or even 128's for that matter for me to try, but I drove a 135 auto cab and I loved it... I'm not sure if I want to wait for a 2009 or try and get a good deal on this 2008 one. (Sorry for such a long post!) |

Definitely should be able to bargain some. Dealers are generally trying to get rid of the 08's now, with the 09's about to come in. pricing for the 2008 is about $700 less then 2009. not thousands. so, I would definitely be aware of the invoice price, and maybe try offering $500-800 over it, and see what you get. some areas of the country are still pretty close to sticker, in others, people are getting around what I suggested. not sure about your neck of the woods.

Dealer Question?
I have a car a 2009 on order, "Schedule for Production" status.
I placed the order on Saturday and e-mail the dealer on Monday night for a couple of changes I wanted to do to the build, add Ipod and wood color change. They called late on Friday to say it's to late. I feel like they blew me off all week and then called once it was to late, can this car be changed or canceled at this point? The dealer say it is to late? Thanks |

Hi guys!
I am about to order an 09 128i. My question is with the 216 accessory rims. Is there ANY way to strike a deal with the dealer so that I can have the car come with these on? I'm not a big fan of the stock rims. I would rather have the car come with the 216 wheels and be happy with that. Thanks in advance |

thats a loaded question...
I think we all know prices are rarely set in stone. My best advice to you is use the information found on this site to understand the BMW's pricing. Try and find yourself a good dealer & make a reasonable offer. |

Hello,
We were in a Bay Area dealership tonight and saw a 2008 135i coupe, brand new. The MSRP was $45,500, and it had the following packages: Sports Cold Weather Premium Navigation Auto tranny It was just about fully loaded, I would say, with some other options like the iPod connector, comfort access, etc. The best quote we got, while we were leaving in our car no less, was $47,500 out the door. Is this a good deal? Can we do better, or should we jump on this car? Thanks! |

Hi dbtheo,
Do you know the difference between option 6NF (bluetooth audio connection) and 6FL USB interface in case of using IPhone for both telephone and music? I noticed that this option became available for model year 09 and was not there for 08'.
