Window tints? NE body gots?

I am right now still waiting for the car, but I can ask the dealer to do some options right away when the car comes in. To avoid any problems in my lease, the dealer is going to do it. I rather just pay $50 or so bucks more to not have to go get it removed. BUT i have to stay within close to legal limit. The dealer said it fades so over time it be legal by the end of the lease.

I looking into a couple of colors for my Alpine White E90:
1) Normal Charcoal (Normal)
2) Titanium (slight silver but charcoal like, from descrip of forums)
3) Gold (slight gold color)

Also anybody got pics of the color combo. I just want to see what these are like with white.

According to the BMW site, under the lease check list you are not allowed to return the car with tint on it. I dunno maybe my dealer will look the other way on this if i get it through them and it is close to legal tint. Probably because they just will resell it.

fusionnv, the dealer can do silver and gold tint?? that's kinda surprising to me.

Anyways, I think you should go for straight black tint, silver and gold tint looks cheap and "ghetto" to me. Black tinted windows on a white car can look great!

It not really gold or silver, it has a very small hint of it. It kinda what is on the lexus suvs. They pretty much look like charcoal, but it has a little touch of color. Basically it is not mirrored. It hard to describe and it is very light. Esp since it has to be close to legal limit, it probably even really be not as noticeable as you think.

Here is the US guide. I am sure that in other countries it is different

Quoted from the safety inspection form:
"Presence of aftermarket tinted windows voids the BMW Lease-End Inspection Form and results in an additional inspection by a third party with a different set of standards." I know the third party people are bad people that charge u for every little thing.

I'm definately going to tint the windows of my new car. I think i'm gonna go for a 20% tint. The limit here (south africa) is 35% but no one has ever pulled me over for it yet. This is my old car with the 20% tint on it (STILL waiting for the sale to go through)

If you want it, get it. Then pay $100 at then end of the lease to have it removed.

I agree.. the $100 bux to remove the tint right before returning to lease is nothing if you like tint on your car. You know I've also heard of ppl returning tinted cars to least without any penalty.

On Monday baby, lol

I don't know wether to get Black or "Titanium" tints. The "Titanium" tints only look reflective under direct sunlight. Besides that, they just look dark. I am just scared that the reflective stuff will make my 330i look cheaper.
