Rats, I ordered these yesterday on the idea there was no ballast at all. My fault for not reading thoroughly. Damn.

These look great and seem to match the strip led's without being too bright. Do these have a ballast?

They match pretty well. They have a little bit of a bluish tint to them. But i feel like if they were the same color as the LED strip it wouldn't be a nice color.

The ballast is very small and is easy to tuck into the headlight. Just take your time with it.

So are these bulbs less bright than the stock in daylight? Or just not bright in daylight when compared to LED? I don't care much about this overall but for $15 and 20 minutes I'd do it if it is at least as bright in the day as the oem?

Had these on my 335 in the past. They are not as bright as stock. Stock is brighter. These are good for night time only pretty much.
