All coats is my understanding. By the way, I think I've seen your car around, do you live off of Hobson?

You do not need ZFX for following coats, but it does speed up the curing process and many people recommend using it.

One little thing of ZFX is still going strong for me. It lasts quite some time.

Not long enough to do 2 coats with the same mix. I'm sure you could use something that was mixed 8 hours ago, I just can not guarantee the results. On the Zaino website they mention something on the order of an hour or two.

ZFX comes with 4 mixing bottles, though, of which I have only used two. Just remember that you only need to mix less than an ounce of Z-2 or Z-5 for our cars, so a whole bottle of Z-2 will last you quite some time.

whatchu talkin bout willis? Zaino says once you mix it's good for 6 hours. 1 ounce was enough for 2.5 coats for me, which i was able to do under the max of 6 hours.

I never had had trouble getting three coats on in 6 hours in any of my cars (e46 330, Volvo S60R, Cadillac CTS-V). I suppose if you were trying to Zaino a very large SUV or 7 series or something that might be different.

The second and third coats are always way easier than the first since it has already been polished so it goes on much easier, especially if you intersperse the layers with a round of z-6 as they recommend.

From this page, Zaino recommends only keeping the solution around that long and to rinse out the bottles before 12 or they will not be reusable.
