In need of a good shipping company..
Hello mates.
I want to get a car shipped from Chicago to California. I would like the shipping cost to be as low as possible, but at the same time I wouldn't want shady people to handle my car and dissemble to jack some parts . You guys know of any reliable and reputable shipping companies? Last edited by Loknlod; 12-26-2012 at 02:44 PM.. |

I would only ship a car via a closed truck carrier. Especially this time of year. Reliable Carriers and Hoorseless Carriage are the two of top companies for this sort of thing. Don't cheap out, bc any damage you avoid now will more than pay for the extra prices these guys charge.

I've used Exotic Transport for my last 2 enclosed vehicle shippings and would do so again; Intercity, Reliable and Horseless Carriage have also been used without problems. Be sure to ask everyone about discounts and book "space available" for the best rate.

In regards to discounts, just ask them what they offer and see if you qualify. I know most give a little off for being in the military (they never ask for proof) or if you are in a car club. Be sure to tell them you are shopping around as well and you will get their best quotes. Again, I would check with Exotic and Intercity at the very least. Good luck and rest assured all will be well...Bob Z. |
