help with intermittent limp mode
Hello
I'm having some trouble pinpointing whats wrong with my engine (135i N55) I've been running a downpipe and JB4 for a year and a half without any issues and the other day I was cruising and I got limp mode without stepping hard on the gas on anything like that, the engine feels good but the only issue is that I have no turbo boost, but then I turn it off and later i turned it on and the limp mode was still there, drove a little bit and tuned it off and the limp mode was gone. Drove back home and it came back on and so on and so forth, its gotten to a point where I could be sitting with the engine on and it would come on and off without even putting the car on drive. I can hear he turbo spooling when there is no limp mode but as soon as I see the yellow half engine I don't hear it anymore. I cleaned the Vanos solenoids about 500 miles ago and I was pretty sure that was the problem until I read the codes: 2E0F - Valvetronic system: disabled, too frequent 2C58 - :knock control/ Charge pressure control, shutdown: pressure build-up disabled 2C1 - wastegate control: Short circuit / Heater for lambada probe front catalyst 2 / Manifold pressure sensor Bank 2 / Wasegate control: short circuit to positive I've done some research but found nothing that matches the codes, any help would be appreciated. |
