Guys I would absolutely love to jump on this, but i'm dreading the repayments on 115,000.....

Anybody (you can PM me if you like) that is purchasing this car under a CHP know what the repayments are on say a 60% residual over 5 years?

Plus i would also have to get out of my existing CHP (only year 2 of 5 years).. dunno if im allowed to get out of it?!

You'll be lucky to get more than 45% residual over five years. A 45/5 will be something in the order of $1700 per month.

Thanks for the replies guys...

If it was around the 1400 mark it would have been okay... 1800 is a bit steep...

Sorry to hijack the thread but i have always wanted to know a couple of things about CHP:

1) Can you change cars somehow half way through the loan period? And how?

2) Can you CHP a used vehicle?

Get out of the current lease is always not a problem especially if you are going into a new one.

The only tip I give to everyone is that if you have to stretch your budget to buy a car, then you shouldn't. If you haven't got a budget, then you should do one. A car is always going to be NPVNegative - if fulfilling a want now, means giving up future wants, then IMHO you should wait. There is always a better car later.

Agreed. Debt on cars is not a great formula unless you're able to deduct the cost of money (interest) as a business expense.

Ok no bites so far according to the dealer, and now I'm thinking of keeping it anyway, so off market for now.
