That's right, but I remember the video of the VO 1M on the way to Daytona. Although I like VO, I have to say it didn't look much more exciting from the same view. It's strange, because I used to like the pics from behind, but didn't like it in the vid.

looking from behind like on the vids of VO and BSM, imo AW will look the best

I'm sure BSM will look much better in person (and with the rear lights on).

Nothing against VO, especially if it remains exclusive to the 2011 1M (which might make me reconsider it, but obviously there's no way to know that). But turning the corner from the 1M display at the DC auto show to the Kia display was a bit surreal...

^ yes! Saw that too. There was a third brand using a very similar color too. I think it was Fiat.

FWIW, this video doesn't represent the car's color or lines very well. Much different in person..

Still love the VO better... Black seems to lose the lines and distinct features that can be clearly seen in AW and VO, IMO

It certainly is also because of the bad vid quality. Sure, black hides the contrast but it doesn't wash out the lines and edges more than AW.

Here are some pics of my 135i in BSM under different light terms and with different cam qualities:

Yeah, but how many cars are black and white?
An orange KIA or Ford will never be seen often, because that kind of cars aren't ordered in masses in such a color.

Just saying: Noone said VO is the most exclusive uber-color, it will just be more rare than black or white. On any car.
And it is too special to become the next white as trend color.

I'm feeling a bit better about my BSM choice after seeing the videos. I think what is missing in the pics so far is a tint on the windows to really finish the feel. Now, I just have to wait for final confirmation of my week 14 build date....
