what photo in particular? someone had a red car where you could see the line, but it wasnt that bad/noticeable. my main issue would be if any dust or other material got stuck underneath the film.

Montego with clear bra
You can kinda see it on mine and yes, it definitely is more noticeable when it gets dusty or dirty but not unless you are pretty close looking at it, but more so from behind the bra (ie drivers door) vs standing in front of the car. Any partial visibility is well worth the protection it offers. Especially if you have any plans on holding onto it for a while. You might notice in some of these pictures that the bra makes the paint finish/shine a bit blurry but I think this is because it was just installed that day. I was told that the sun will smooth that out.

I have seen a lot of clear bras and I have yet to see one that was "clear" enough for me. I hate that you can see the lines. When the bra ages it gets even worse so if it can be slightly seen new think what it will look like 3 years old.
I am very very picky about paint and my car so I am a little extreme. If you drive through the mountains or any where there is a lot of loose gravel on a regular basis it is probably worth it. Otherwise I say repaint the front of the car every few years instead. |

A friend brought his Mustang in a couple of days ago to show me the clear bra. It's 2 yrs old and looked very good. You had to get the light at the right angle to see it (bright sunny day). I was totally impressed and am now planning to get one.

hmmm....looks good to me...I wonder...is it more noticable on darker cars? (asks the guy getting black haha)... not a fan of "the lines" either..but not a fan of chips either...so guess it's a toss up!:iono:

The worst color I have seen it on is White actually. I guess it could be that I have yet to see one that was done well which scares me even more about them. If the installer screws up and does not do a good job I would be pretty upset. All of the clear bras I have seen have been 3M. Is there a better brand out there?
