Fwiw, the ride quality with 1200lb rear springs is effectively identical to 850lb rear springs (excellent), with the AKG bushings. The stock dampers and subframe bushings were hateful.

why the heck did BMW go so soft with the RSFB? If it doesn't reduce NVH, and it slops the handling, what is the point?

Also, what do you guys think of the BF Goodrich R1 (not S)? Looks like I can get that in 245/40/18.

i did rsfb (i think it was one of the first things i did) before lsd on stock suspension. imo it made total traction available from a low speed over poor surfaces worse with more wheel hop. what it did eliminate was the pogo spongy feeling and the instability that causes.

the lsd on the other hand was the mod that significantly reduced e-diff interference. at some point the the wheel hop went as well, but i cant remember if it was post lsd, post coil over, or post driver adaption... it certainly wasnt post rsfb for me.
