Le Mans blue 135is small build

This is my first go at modifying a car besides a k&n on my last bmw so I hope everything goes well. After having the car for 4 months now and being on here about everyday seeing everyone else's mods I've decided to do a few of my own. My last bmw was an m3 that I did a ton of DIY stuff to fix it up but I've never done anything mechanical to the car. I'm not getting too adventurous with my mods but I am trying to do everything that I can do by myself and the rest I've been getting a mechanic at work to walk me through as I go to learn. It's been a blast so far!

Love coming home to packages! I did a lot of looking around for a downpipe and planned to just do that first.. Manny at Active Autowerke really hooked me up though and I ended up going for a couple more goodies! any guesses?

Guess you took our advice and had money left over for mods. You still think the 135is is a "first year" model?

Why did you choose cobb springs over other brands? Just curious, because I'm trying to start planning to build my 135is up as well.

Seeing how you couldn't believe that quite a few of us including myself got 7% if not more of a discount on our cars and such a notion seemed unbelievable to you. Or maybe we just all got your employee discount lol.

I thought it lowered it the perfect amount. I spoke to a guy on here who sent me pictures of it on his car and it looked great. It gets rid of the wheel gap without being too low to worry about scraping in normal driving. I think it really does handle better as well. I'm very pleased with it and I think I'm gonna get the front and rear sway bars after I finish doing all the active autowerke stuff.

It's been on there for over a week now so should be all settled in. I'll pull it in the garage and take a couple pictures after work.

Yeah that is crazy to me. I just don't see discounts like that in this area. Also, when I see 7% I'm thinking straight off MSRP, without using any incentives (because that's what I care about)... If you have usaa, build out cash, etc you can probably get there, I'm just looking at it differently.

Thanks for bringing up something from 6 months ago though...in a thread that has nothing to do with it

Lol what are you talking about? I never said it was a lie nor did i create a new account... I changed my username by two letters since my first and middle initial make IS....when I got my 135 "IS"... All I was saying was that that is a large discount (that I never see)... I sold two of them and they were both at their 53k msrp's...
