Eisenmann exhaust install on my 1M

Had the axle back "Race" version installed today by my friends at Kaizen tuning. Didn't weight the 2 exhaust but feels similar. Good fit and finish.
I haven't had a chance to do any hard pulls with the car yet so I can't really say if it feels any stronger or not. The sound is deeper from the outside, didn't notice much of a change from inside, this might change after it burns in after a few hundred miles. Here's a few quick pics and a short video. Love how it tucks underneath out of sight!!!

Just wish someone would do a report on how it affects the drone @ 2000-2400rpm in 6th cruising.

If you didn't notice it with the OEM I doubt you will notice it with your new setup. I don't mind 'loud' as specially on WOT. But what I find troubling is the drone at light throttle at freeway cruising speed(60-80mph). It's ok on short trips but anything over an hour of driving and it gets old fast. My E90M3 was too quiet in stock form but I did not want to introduce drone into the cabin at cruising speed. DINAN and AA both do a great job at offering real world gains in performance and sound without the drone. Some of us got the SAT and iPhod packages so we can enjoy some music on longer trips, just saying.

Please don't take this the wrong way guys, but everytime I hear someone complain and going on and on about "exhaust drone" on their 1M it is painfully obvious to me that BMW did not build the 1M for you....

Just saying....

Went to the dealer for my 1st service today, everybody at the service dept came over to checkout the 1M and the exhaust. They all loved the aggressive sound of the exhaust and the person behind me in line in the service area didn't even know what it was, he said "Is that a new M3?"

I put on about 40 miles today after the service and I finally went WOT for the 1st time. The new exhaust sounds intoxicating at WOT, very aggressive and more bass. At a steady 80mph in 6th gear @2.5k rpm the sound is very similar to the oem exhaust so no problems with listening to HK or using the phone. Love how it sounds now when carving thru the backroads accelerating and then upshifting and Throttle blipping downshifting. So far I'm real happy with this exhaust.

I couldn't agree more. This is one of greatest replies I've seen in a very long time, and mind you, I'm an extremely picky individual when it comes to sound given that I have rather sensitive ears.

Glad to see I'm not alone

Remember...we are supposed to be the hardcore BMW M enthusiast vanguard that's been crying for the rawer, unsynthetic driving experience that BMW has slowly but surely been drifting away from....let's not send them the wrong signal when they try to give us what we've been asking for all along!!!
