Ok, so keep in mind the first batch of photos is from Friday night at about 5PM.

And then I come back the next morning...

En route to Vegas

Now in Vegas and the Vdara decided to give me front VIP parking

Outside of SEMA

I will get some more photos soon! Hope you guys like it and enjoyed the build. I can definitely say I'm in LOVE with it. So much more badass than it used to be. And the satin black is the way to go.

I actually didn't have time to get an exhaust yet lol. Too many last minute details but it actually doesn't look too bad with no tips! I'll be getting it done this week though so we shall see how everything fits.

Now that flex-fuel options are coming out for our car I think my 135 is a keeper and will eventually become my 3rd/track day car. For me it's not out of reason to spend the money to really improve it's looks and be able to run better offsets.
As far as costs go, I listed all the parts on the 1st page I believe. I didn't really get an invoice lol. I also got hooked up a lot by the shop for labor and what not. The wrap is what ended up costing the most. That was 3k, with 1100 being covered by insurance. 5200 from insurance + 1700 out of pocket covered all the labor, rear quarter panels, back windshield, rear bumper, etc . I sourced the front parts myself listed on front page with the listed prices.

Let me try and get it all organized so I can make a detailed lay out of the costs!

nice bird in the last picture

So did you just take off the OEM exhaust for the show?

I am greatly interested in the battery section of the 135i vs. 1M. Please let me know if you find out anything!

Haha I didn't even know that was in the picture until a few days ago!

My car was straight piped. Originally we just disconnected the axle back but then there was no support. So we cut the axel back probably about a foot after the hanger to give it some support.

Looking good Tony. How much was the 1M diffuser from the dealer you bought it from?

Very nice Tony and the crew at LTBMW! Definitely something to consider if you have damage that insurance will pay for...I think the same way as you do, let's take that $$ and fix up the car to a higher level instead of returning to status quo.

Good job!

From the looks of the rear I think the RPI GT race exhaust would fit that 1m rear end.

I'm glad to see a 1M owner saying that. A lot of 1M guys get annoyed when a 135 gets "converted" to a 1M body.

It is good to see some respect from the 1M guys. But as far as I know, I'm the first 135 coupe to do this conversion right? There was a hatchback 118 done and a cabrio done. Are there any others?

Yeah, I think you're right. Somebody in Philly did a front-end conversion on a 135i a couple of weeks ago, but they didn't do the rear.

Of course, there's always Prior Design and the other similar kit... I'm not sure if we can count that as a "1M conversion"... it's equally difficult and more expensive...

Hey Tony, looks great! No accident or insurance money to help for me so I could only afford to do the front-end at this time. Besides I was having the most issues (traction) with the front anyway and wanted to address the severe understeer conditions when at the limit. I'm definitely interested in your write-up on what is needed to complete the 1M rear conversion.

Do your 1M side markers light up? Mine don't for some reason. Do you know or can you find out what your shop had to do to get them to light up? I would *greatly* appreciate it.

1M Front-End Conversion starts on page 3

That looks great!

My side markers do NOT light up but I just thought maybe LT forgot to plug them in since it was all done over night. Maybe it's something more than that...Let me ask them when I get a chance.
