FEELER: OEM BMW Style 141 V-Spoke Winter Full Set (Rims+ TPMS + Tires)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
RELISTING!!!

I drove on these for another winter, but I still want to sell them if the money is good!

Reason for selling: these were bought for me as a gift by mommy. The reasoning was it was all OEM BMW, so it was a good gift. But... I already had my heart set on some non-RFT winter tires and some black rims that go better with the more aggressive look of my car. I didn't want to be rude (my mother bought them for me, after all!) so I kept them on one winter, used them sparingly. Last year I sort of wanted to sell them, but decided that they had so few miles and I thought I was going to powder coat them, etc, but that fell through. Now I feel like selling them again.

Just measured the tires. Well over 6/32 all around as per this guide:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=51

Used the quarter, well over the quarter. Used the penny, well over the penny. I'd estimate it's about 8/32 maybe even a little more! Can get pictures and better measurements too.

As far as the quality of the tires themselves, they are great! I've used them through northeast winters, including the huge blizzard in 2010. They were champs, so to speak. Plus they're run-flats and snow tires, so they're not nearly as harsh as the summer run-flats, but still have the ability to save you from being stranded due to a flat.

Rims are still perfect! I never ever curb my car. No rash, no anything. Just some brake dust. I can take more pictures if necessary.

Looking for ~$1300 + shipping (or pickup) for great condition OEM components. Cost a bit over $2000 total, rims by themselves are $1300. So for the price of new rims, you are getting rash and blemish free, almost-mint rims, plus a set of tires with a majority of their life remaining! Also great if you have the BMW wheel and tire protection (I THINK, I don't know if they honor it on used stuff) but when I bought these they qualified as they were all OEM, the rims and the tires.

ALSO, I confirmed that these do have the TPMS installed in them. Woohoo. Free for you! $200 value!

Thank you for looking!

Original Listing:

BMW Style 141 17" V-Spoke rims mated to Goodyear Eagle DU-GW3 run-flat winter tires.

The rims are of the highest OEM quality and are NEAR MINT. No curb rash, or scratches. I can post newer pics by tomorrow.

This set has about 1500 miles on it, probably less. I'm thinking of selling it and getting black rims for the winter just because I like that color better.

Not totally sure if I wanna sell, but I'm thinking of letting them go for somewhere in the lower 4-digits. The rims by themselves new are $1300.

I was in Europe recently and noticed these rims mounted on a lot of 1er hatches, so it gives a great european look (see the attached picture of the hatch)

Any opinions? Any offers?

BTW guys, I'm still really thinking about selling this set. It's mint condition with very few miles, perfect condition rims, all OEM.

Confirmed that these DO have the TPMS installed, despite the plastic valve caps (confused me at first).. a $200 value, yours for free

$1150

OEM rims in perfect condition (just a bit of brake dust) and tires in great condition with the majority of their life left... with the value of the TPMS figured in, this is exactly half the price that BMW asks for!

Bump, price reduced to $1100

Near Mint wheels, tires with majority of tread life remaining, and TPMS all for less than half of what you'd pay new. Willing to negotiate. I know it's a little steep compared to what you can buy new on tirerack, but you're getting OEM rims (not crap quality MODA or some other brand rims) the top rated RUN FLAT winter performance tires, and TPMS!

Hey RLeinbac, unfortunately this post was made over a year ago and the wheels and tires are long gone. Thank you for the interest, though!
