COBB Accessport for a 1M?

I know COBB has a accessport for the 135i but I wonder if it'll work for the 1M? Anyone know?

Thanks!

If you e-mail them they will tell you it is in development ... no word on timing, I would expect relatively soon!

Cobb will have a Houston car on the dyno for the last time this Saturday. Tune will be released shortly after that.

Can't wait... Hopefully this will be my Christmas present to the car this year!

The car on the dyno was mine, we did it in Austin. The tune is not the same as the 135i. I planned on being there this Saturday so they could finish it up but my car is with BMW cause the damn charge-pipe keeps blowing off, even with a fresh o-ring.

No it happened before the tune. It happened before break-in. It really pisses me off because I told them about it and the dealership said they checked it and everything was fine. Yet it popped off about 8 times since then. I finally took it out myself and saw that there was no o-ring. I bought the o-ring, reinstalled and it lasted about 2 minutes. (While spooling like it never had before!)

I guess it's a faulty charge-pipe, and i dont have the funds to go aftermarket yet. All that plastic shit in there is annoying too, I don't even want to talk about it.

But yes, the Cobb tune at 18psi felt great, although a bit laggier cause they dropped ignition timing down pretty far. But remember, this was by email after they fixed the torque limiter, and the final tune is yet to be release.

Stay tuned, I'll be sure to let you guys know when it is ready! I'm going to try and get a race gas map built for us too.

By the way, the Accessport has a TON of variables you can log or view in real time, with a great refresh rate, and can read/clear codes so it's a great diagnostic tool as well!

Believe it or not I have about $200 after making all my bills and no savings! Plus about $1,800 in credit to pay off.

I've spoken with Tim Bailey via email. Cobb is for sure going to do tuning for this car, he has invited me to bring my 1M by for some baseline pulls on their Portland dyno. I'll probably take her by Surgeline right after I have my run in service in a month or so. The car still only has 450 miles on it.

Ha, it probably doeant help that 80% of my income goes towards the car.

Don't worry, CP-E charge-pipe soon, probably with Synapse valve and a CM10 nozzle.

Please tell them we need a valet map, too.

They've already started. I've been running prototype stage 1 for about 2 weeks now. The charge-pipe issue is holding up progress. I'm supposed to be there in Austin tomorrow.

Do you know if they are planning the ability to custom tune? OTS maps are great and all but Tim is a master with Subrarus, Evos and GT-Rs I would love to see what he can do with my 1M!
