Did you find them dangerously slippery at first? Was fun, but very random...

yes, that was a bit scary, considering what I was expecting to happen when I floored it.

someone help me decide. Put wheels on and drive to boston and take a spare front wheel with me? A front will fit front and rear I believe in case of disaster. Or bring all four tires and a jack (maybe two, i find it easier to adjust camber when the entire front is off the ground) and do it up at event? is there really enough free time to do that?

There's plenty of time to change them at the event... I have done that for quite a few seasons.

For this year, my ARC-8's are my street setup as well. I plan on using the Assist button religiously, in case of tire damage. I carry too much stuff back and forth between events, to even think of spare tires and jacks.

There is a jack point under the engine that you can get to if you drive the front up on blocks ~6" high (maybe less with lop profile jack). That would let you get both fronts off the ground. I don't know if one floor jack and block would be easier than two floor jacks?

It all depends on what will fit in the trunk i guess.

Weather update.. Seems we may get some wau-wau on Sunday. Cold with occasional drizzle is forecast at the moment. Lows of 34 are forecast overnight. We have to keep an eye on the type of precipitation we're getting...

Bummer, seeing the past two weekends were unseasonably nice.

Friday evening.. Gives enough time for people to read them, but not too much time for them to complain and ask for favors...

Tried and true!

I heard the word "snow" yesterday. Are you freshly Zaino'd?

I'm going to miss this one - I have a full day of other commitments now. Not even able to sneak out in the morning and watch for a while.

My 1er is tucked in the garage today, due to the rain, thinking my 2 day detail last weekend could be shown off at event 1... now it's looking like that plan is for naught.

We are running. Period. <<Top view of a Baker cupcake.

I cannot see accumulation happening, even if it did snow. The ground is already too warm. There is no thunder or lightening forecast, and since we are using the alternate entrance to the airbase, there's no possibility of the entrance being closed.

Last Sat and Sun... 2 stage correction with my 7424xp, plus 2 coats of Einzett Glanz and a final of Dodo Juice Supernatural. The car is glowing right now (and the reason it's parked in my garage today - and tomorrow)
