I am under the impression that the new plates are not auctionable to anyone. An article on SMH stated that they can only be transferred between cars owned by the original person or between family members.

Those hoping to cash-in on the new combinations by buying a high-demand plate and selling it for a profit will be disappointed to learn that these new plates can’t be auctioned off. Instead, they have to be registered to a car, and can only be passed on to family members. The more expensive open content plates (where any combination of letters and numbers up to six figures is available).

Yeah I kinda was expecting that, typical of RTA.. oh well I'll just have to get a 1M
I'm sure there are ways to get around it like me surrendering the plates at an agreed time after payment with buyer and then when they are back in the pool they can order them again

I can't even get onto the RTA website to try some combos out- farken oveloaded! I've tried to call and been on hold for 1/2 hour. The times of got on, it won't let me load combos like 11OOI etc.
