Hey guys,

As the title says I'm swapping my quad eisenmann race exhaust this weekend with a matte black berk race exhaust. I currently have a icarbon cf quad diffuser and don't want to switch back to the stock diffuser. What are your opinions on leaving the quad one on my car with the Berk race?

Ideally i would buy a new one with a single outlet but don't want to go through the hassle of selling mine and buying a new one. Also, i know it can be difficult to find the three fin replicas.

added picture to the thread after exhaust swap. Scroll to bottoms of page 1. Let me know what you think

Wait so just have an empty space where the second set of tips would be?

Just IMO, but keep the Eisenmann quad, and get unresonated mids. I'm assuming your goal is more loud. That'll do it, you have a sick axle back why get rid of it.

Already bought the berk yesterday. The eisenmann was expensive and have other expenses that will need to be addressed in the near future. And i would like to do some other things to my car.

A buddy and i are swapping them this weekend and ill see how it looks then. Just wanted to get some opinions about running it with the opening where the second outlet will be missing

Go into the fs section. Member posted 135 partout: wrecked. Ask him about his rear diffuser. It's hard to see from the picture but it looks like it might be in okay shape.

And yeah, it'll look a little weird without the right

Switch and put on the stock diffuser now. Ppl are selling 3 fins for 350ish and you can find them on eBay for around the same price.

I may have a solution for you.

I see your Eisenmann quad is for sale if the FS section. Im heavily debating it but Im also contemplating selling my 1er and getting a c63 AMG (I have an itch with that car that I just can't get rid of.)

If I decide to keep my 1er, I'll buy your exhaust and I'd also be interested in working a trade + cash for your diffuser. I'm currently running a Berk full street exhaust with a CF diffuser that you can see pics of in my garage. Its in perfect condition as far as I know with no scratches, etc. It looks nearly identical to yours just with the single outlet.

Let me know if you are interested.

This may be a good situation. Let me swap my exhaust on Saturday and we will talk then. I'll shoot you a pm and we can start some discussion about this.

Not that bad just looks odd when you look at it for a few seconds and realize what is going on. I’d really consider selling the quad diffuser and replacing with a standard CF one. I bet you won’t end up spending much money, and it’ll look right. My 2C.

I came from an Evo X which has duals as standard. Some guys would put a tow hook in the empty area when they went single.

I think it needs something to fill the gap. Most people won't notice though except for enthusiasts.

I had swapped my diffuser to a single sided and only had 2 people ever notice. lol

The tow hook may be a possible option. Idk what will happen yet...thanks for the input

Just buy some tips that match the berk and find a way of mounting them on the other side so it looks even haha.

Curious as to how the berk race compares to the Eisenmann. Can't say I've heard any Eisenmann on the N54. A friend has one on his DCT N55 with stock DPs and mids with the Y-pip and it is the most epic exhaust I've ever heard. The burble is ridiculously clear and loud and it just burbles almost the entire time he's coasting/decelerating. It's like a 5 second continuous burble LOL. I can hear is burble even over the sound of my own exhaust and he's driving directly behind me.

The eisenmann has an amazing sound. Low deep at low rpm and high exotic sound at high rpm. And yes the burble is orgasmic. Haha.

The berk is much more brutish and loud and kind of exactly what I expected and wanted. For the price it was definitely worth trying it.
