Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser
What are peoples' experiences with CF diffusers??
Suppliers, prices, shipping... Seems to be a few options in the US... A new product by Vivid Racing seems to be the cheapest although the weave looks fairly ordinary. iCarbon products have a lot of good comments... although I'm still trying to work out whether their one has an iCarbon label in white in the centre of the part... the pics on their website show that it does... while many of the pics on the forums dont. |

I've got the BMW performancE one and can't fault it at all. It's great and deff adds a nice touch. However they are pricey!(managed to get mine on eBay pretty cheap)
With regards to icarbon I've never seen one in person but a lot of people have given them good reviews. I'm pretty sure the white sign is just a decal which you can take off. Also I'm pretty sure it adds at least 15kw easy and sucks the car to the road hard!! Haha |

iCarbon next to BMW Performance Diffusor, personally looks better as you get 3 fins on iCarbon to 2 on BMW Perf. The decal does come off but the only problem with iCarbon is it could take around 3-4mnths to get the diffusor as they always seem to be in short supply.

Here is a pic of a 135i I saw last weekend from the German 1er Forum. I think it has the BMW Performance Diffusor.
One of the guys there told me the first year BMW offered the CF parts... that rear diffuser was selling for 900 euros. Now... they want 1400 euros! |

I also went with iCarbon diffuser and spoiler, on AW it looks great.. havent had a chance for some pics yet..
Just make sure they have stock before you order. I was waiting for like... 3 months! They now hold stock from what they said... Plus I really cant justify the BMW Genuine price. Very Happy with it.... |

BMW Perf from Dan @ United to Aus was about 1600 when i ordered. No issues with fitment, 5-10 mins max DIY.
