WTB: 6MT 128i
Located in Ohio and I'm considering a 128i to make a twisty road/autoX/track car that can hold kids occasionally. 6MT is a must slick top and manual sport seats are a big want Sport suspension and heated seats are nice to have Not picky about colors Higher mileage is ok with service records. Performance mods are fine. LSD, BBK, M3 control arms are a plus. Willing to travel for the right car. Thanks for the help! Mike |

The Style 370 Streamline wheel looks like the stock wheel on a 2011 X3 28i here in USA. That's not what's in the pictures posted in that ad. So Sports Package, which in 2012 for USA does show the 270 wheel as part of that package, and (thankfully) he replaced the white trim with black. Yeah, no fog lights is the tell on the 135 front bumper. I'm also willing to bet the headlight cleaning system isn't connected. The VIN not showing in the BMWNA data base for an MSRP report is usually the case when it was a military delivery outside of BMWNA. I believe the wheels are Style 68 from an E46.

Wow, that's an incredibly rare car. I would definitely say it was imported. No US dealer would spec a slicktop with leather and iDrive. I don't think I've ever even seen such a beast before.

Whoever ordered my car had this kind of weird taste: idrive, xenons, heated seats and steering wheel BUT no bluetooth or sunroof.

Just wanted to jump in and say, I've got a slick top 128i and I have two kids. One is in a car seat and if I wasn't a hobbit, she'd never fit. It's hard enough to get her in. I fear how hard it would be to get her out in an accident.
I love my 1er, but I try very hard to never put the smaller on in. Even my 10 y.o. makes me nervous to put him back there. Get the car, forget about the kid aspect of it, especially if you're taller than 5'8". |

I have one with a bit over 60k miles for 12k usd if you are willing to come down to Ontario, Canada (6-7 hr drive according to google). Bilstein b14 coilovers, 135i muffler, res delete, 135i rear bumper, 135i front bumper (not installed). 6mt, heated manual non-sport seats, sunroof, full service history.

Bump and thanks for the feedback everyone. Unfortunately still looking as are a lot of people it seems.
@chrism, you said much affiliation. Do you work for the dealer? The spec matches my goal, but the price seems high for the mileage without being an M-sport. If it's still available at this point then it probably is too high. |
