Very NICE Sylon! Love the super wide angle shots.
But.... WHAT.... you mange to take a pictures in a land with just about zero power lines, except in your pics!!!! lol It is one thing I notice in just about EVERY photo from the states.... are those nasty telephone poles or electrical cables in every background shot! Out where I live in Bravaria... we have next to zero power cables except for the "main grid" lines like in your photos. |

Nice Shots!
What do the locals think about the US-spec headlights with the orange reflectors? Do they like it or feel sorry for us?

Haha, I know right? There isnt too many places around here, so when I found this spot, those were the only things that bugged me. I have a few more spots I think I might try out where you wouldnt see power lines at all. Quote:
I actually haven't been asked about them. But I live in an area where a lot of Americans live, so the locals are used to seeing US-spec cars. |

Nice front lip! And great car color combo btw.
However, I have the same gap as you do, and is it wrong that it's been bothering me?? Others such as ulrichd, samleey, and BMW86 along with the iCarbon car don't seem to have this fitment issue. I blame the detail-oriented/perfectionist part of me for noticing these kinds of things! Their lips look flush in these areas (in rectangles). Looks great man. Did you use any screws or was it all 2 sided tape? Does it hold up well at high speeds?

Box packing tape works great and is clear if you are gonna leave it on for a few days.
My center area sagged slightly also. I plan to put some screw in it next time I get my car on a lift.

Im almost afraid to test it at higher speeds, lol. I haven't tried yet. Its held on by tape and a screw on each end right now. Quote:
My lip only sags in the middle and on the very end of the driver's side. The areas on the leading edge of the lip, where Bullet has mentioned in his post, are sitting perfectly flush with the bumper. I have a feeling this lip will have to be taken off and redone in the near future |

THREAD REVIVE.
Where would I get that plastic primed looking lip? I have looked every where for one, but can't seem to find it. |

Wow, there's a 4 year old thread, lol. It's unfortunate that my car doesn't look like that anymore after this happened:
