for those going with leatherette ,which i assume will come only black or cream beige, which would you choose with AW:

The whole problem is the carpet. Lighter colored carpets start to look like crap in a hurry. Cars should come with black carpet regardless of seat color. Therefore black is the only practical choice.

that's a very good point; it is kind of tough to enforce the "no shoe rule" in the car- let's face it; we're not in Japan.

If you go with the black leatherette,just remember to allow some money for a great big spatula, so you can scrape your thighs off the seats in July & August.

turns out the non-black option is taupe rather than cream beige for what it's worth.

Black leather or leatherette is going to be really hot with direct sunlight on it for any period of time. The leatherette is just a little less comfortable since it does not "breathe" at all.

The beige (now taupe) would be good trim colour if they kept the black carpet.

I have black leather on my Roady.... I was expecting the same issue.
Surprisingly it's not that bad.
Sure it gets warm in the sun.... but not blazing saddles type of hot.
IDK if it's the leather or not, but I was pleasantly surprised.
