Yup I just changed the rears and just have so much more grip! TC hardly comes on at all anymore.

How are you finding your tires Hiten?

Given the added traction, is there a demonstrated difference in 0-60 times with Pilot SS?

Hi Joe, I haven't driven much since having the PSS's on but I have noticed a better ride so far. I am doing a cross county drive for this weekends meet and hopefully be able to make a better comparison!

Don't have the equipment to measure but that is inevitable because most of the gain in the traction is happily with the first gears so it must be a minimum .1 to maybe .3 faster under the command of a good driver.

Normal. These are asymmetric tires, and all asymmetric tires all do that. If they were directional the slashes would go the same direction. If you want to be sure they are mounted right take a look on the sidewall and you should find the word "outside" facing out.

Fair question. The one that says "265/35 ZR19 98Y XL with rim protection ridge, M0, UHP" is a Mercedes OEM fitment, meaning it's tuned for whatever mercedes that comes on stock. That's not the one you want...

Okay guys so I finally spent the $1700 to get these ordered.

Only thing is, should I have gotten 265/35/R19 fronts or 265/30/R19 fronts?

I need to change my order quickly if I'm going to catch it. They are here tomorrow!

There is no such size (260/35/19), did you mean 265/30/19?

The optimal size IMO is the one featured on the M3 GTS with our exact wheels, but the PSSs don't come in that configuration IIRC

Yeah I mean 265/35/R19 vs 265/30/R19.

Looks like HP Autoworks got 265/35/R19 to fit up front with stock setup?

Let us know if you rub or not.

I am hoping to go with 255/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. A pinch of extra tread width could never hurt, and the speedo will now be dead on.

So what size did you order for the rear? 295/30?

As I just posted in the 1M Track Wheel and Tire setup thread:

Harold of HP Autoworks reported in September 2011:

"255/35R19 PSS will rub (we have mounted this upgrade on a customer's 1M, 255/35R19 front and 275/35R19 rear PSS) on the exhaust vents of the oil and water cooler first at and near full steering lock before it will rub on the top of the fender liner (this can only happen if you lower your car too much, at stock or 1" lowering there is not enough compression travel for this to happen)."
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=16

"As long as the tires are right around the same diameter of the OE you will be okay. We are mostly concerned on diameter on the front with a 255 or 265."

The money I save is less than the money extra to mount and balance when not buying through Discount Tire.
