Garage flooring
Hi guys,
im thinking of doing up my garage floor. At the moment it is bare concrete (with a couple minor cracks...). Ive had a quick look on the internet and it seems the 2 main options are PVC/tiles or epoxy. so has anyone here had experience with these? and if so whats good/bad about them? cheers |

mate, go epoxy. Its a bit more expensive but will last better. Another option is go clear seal on the concrete floor. Still leave you the concrete look but much easy to maintain.

I have ceramic tiles, 400 x 200, grey with a decent grain pattern, cost me about $8k but is definately nice when clean, just mop like you do in the house. Only real concern I have is when jacking the car you need to be conscious of where the trolley metal wheels are, you don't want to crack one of the succkers.

John, you have pics of the floor? Been thinking of tiles or slates like you see in some of the high end dealerships but keep wondering how strong they are? Also something like this could work? http://www.garageworks.com.au/progarage_floor.html

That black and white tiled stuff the rich Americans use is the bomb. Petrol/everything proof and looks great.

Im looking into this as well, seems epoxy is one of the most durable.
I just wish I got it done when I first built the house, will be a pain to get everthing out of there at once to get it done now!
