Had my rear brakes replaced January 15 for squealing. Peace and quiet lasted one day and then the squealing started again. The dealer replaced them under warranty and I picked the car up this morning. When I went out for lunch, the exact same squealing started up again. And now I have to return for another service appointment. My BMW Voice survey is not likely to be to the dealer's liking this time around.
Diagnosis of the first repair failure was "Rear brake pads have too much metal content."

I wonder if the noise is your parking brake. Did they replace the Rotors for you?
