Aftermarket led side markers
Bought it in belief that it will be easy to instant without a problem. Such a joke.
I had to remove plastic foam from the bottom and with a rasper modified bottom plastic in order to *clicked* indicator in to the fender. So instead of 5 minutes installation it took 30 minutes. And they said it would perfectly fits E81/82/87/88, E90/91/92/93, E60/61. Disappointment. Maybe "F10 style" led marker would be easier. But on the other hand I still like the look with aftermarket indicators much more than oem even you have to "make" it fit. Hope it will be useful for somebody. Thanks.
I have the a black E88 and was wondering if these LED's would completely cover the indent in the bodywork left by the stock indicators. Looking at your photos they do or almost do. I've ordered a pair. Thanks to your experience I won't get surprised & pissed off when they don't fit out of the box Will post photos when they arrive. |
