Two-tone / bicolored wheels? Opinions?
I just wanted to know what you guys thought about two-tone / bi-color wheels.
Silver with black in between the spokes and any "inner" sections. Is it "rice" or "classless"? as one of my friends have told me? I never associated this style with the concept of cheap. but here are some examples... http://www.forgestar.com/pics/f142tone.jpg http://www.forgestar.com/pics/f142toneside.jpg http://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/att...6&d=1224280850 http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1231953800 http://images17.fotki.com/v323/photo...olor_01-vi.jpg |

Can look fine. The BMW 269 (Tii) wheel is 2-tone. Helps hide the brake dust.
Just don't do this -

I'm considering the same. I really like what this guy did. I've got space grey so I'm thinking gun metal and red.

That is a nice look for a wheel. Similar to what I did with my Imola Red E39. Two tone wheels are fine as long as you have an overall scheme that goes with them.

The first two links of the Forgestar's are far from rice, they look very nice to me. I would use a BMW center cap though...
The last link of the Sportec is nice too, I had them on my B5 S4 and they looked good (Silver with a machined face)... |
