Will the 1 series be a 2008 or a 2009 car?
Car is released in spring in US. So does that mean the model year is going to be 2009? If so, that would help resale a bit.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...light=calendar So it appears that some of the 2009's (bought in sept-dec 08) will also get the engraving/badging :iono: Remember, there a difference between calendar year and model year (MY) as most MY's start in september... |

Yes, you can wait for the 2009 model to come out in order to fix any bugs, quirks, etc. But you can use the same logic in thinking that the 2010 model will be just that much better than the 2009. In the end, I want mine, and I want it as soon as I can  |

2008 means no sale for me
I am a chronic car buyer so generally buy cars every 2 -3 years. I generally get a low or no optioned high resale car (bmw) and buy the car early in the model year and do just fine on resale at the 2 or 3 year mark.
This is probably a good thing to delay purchase a bit anyway. |

Wow, last time I checked it is an SAV, with a 6-spd manual. Hmmm, interesting, when have I called the 1 series gay? I wanted a 1 series in 2004 when I bought my X3 for 3 grand under invoice (hence the reason I bought an X3). And I still want a 1-series, hence the reason I am on a 1-series site, maybe. MORON

lol, the written word is poorest understood form of communication. However, I can see where you could think I was bashing the 1. Go look at my other posts. I'm just objective.
I was merely stating that the masses won't get this car and it was stupid to put a deposit on it, won't be that hard to get one, just like my WOMENS X3! :w00t: |
