Is this finally the conclusive proof that US members need to accept the fact that no 1M's are coming after Jan 1 2012?

just kidding... I would have thought that since there were no more "allocations" since the end of Oct, people would have accepted that fact for the US market.

I do get my car in January. First week. So still production into 2012 but all has been sold as far as I know. This is in Sweden but same situation here. No new orders possible as far as I understood it. Production of 1M will continue for the first quarter in 2012 to fill the orders but then I guess its over if they don't change their minds for any reason.

Completely unrelated...you said it yourself, you're in Sweden. In the US there is a group of people that have been entertaining the mental masturbation that the car will be produced and sold into 2012, when all evidence points in the opposite direction including: letter/memo from BMW NA stating so and ordering the dealers NOT to take any new orders, pulling away all remaining 047 orders from the order bank that were for after-October production, production actually having ended in October, and what was just posted.

EDIT: By the way, your getting your car first week of January means it will be produced this year, so no, your car will not be a 2012-produced car.

While I agree that there are no 1M's coming after Jan 1 to the US, the X5 (except the M) and 6 series aren't on that list either.

A big "tell tale" sign for me (even though I already believed no 2012 1Ms) was that there was no 1M on display at the recently concluded LA AUTO SHOW.

I am assuming that after this confirmation of the end of US production we can also expect to see the overall end of production around February or March completing a 1 year production circle for 1M. Only after the end of production is confirmed, BMW will/may announce how many actually produced.
