Good friends of ours contacted us last week with a couple of tix for us, so we'll fly down for the weekend.

Wonder if I can get a booking at Tetsuya's at late notice... probably more chance of winning a Veyron in a Mater Prize draw!

Same here and ditto for your comment. I was a bit dissapointed there was not more TG show style comedy from Jeremy like when they do the news on the UK show etc.
As for Steve from Aussie TG, I don't think he brought anything to the show at all.

Does anyone know the actual reason James May did not come.

May didn't come as he had commitments for his other shows to fulfill.

I actually really enjoyed the show.

JC was in fine form on saturday night with the audience. Looked like he was really enjoying himself.

I found the show good. About what I expected, but a bit too short. And those "live ads" were awful!
