Anyone tried this with a berk street exhaust? how did it sound? was it too rice or just right?

Also it wont throw any codes right? Will dealership give me any problems?

Replacing the midpipe will not throw any codes, and you should be fine for emissions with the primary cats in place. As for the dealership, it is highly unlikely they'll cause a fuss so long as the primary cats are in tact, however is it possible? Sure. A dealer could try to deny warranty work due to a drop in air filter, but as mods go this is pretty mild so I wouldn't be concerned at all. Most likely the techs will just get a kick out of hearing the car.

I can't speak from first hand experience as I don't have Berk street, but from what I understand it's a fairly understated sound, so i'd imagine paired with straight piped MPs it would sound pretty sweet. You'll have more rasp due to the lack of resonators, but if the downpipes are stock it won't be ricey or obnoxious. It should sound badass. Let's put it this way, I'm not a fan of super raspy/obnoxious exhausts, and i'm seriously considering pairing straight piped Meisterschaft MPs to the existing Meisterschaft axle-back unit on my car. That'll be louder than this setup, and I still don't think it will cross into obnoxious/crazy drone territory. Go drive it and upload a video!

This is called the "N55 mid pipe" mod. Yes, many have done it to great success. No ECL either.
