Active Autowerke Strut Tower Brace... Aftermarket Intake?

I'm interested in the strut tower brace by AA. I have the AFE DCI installed in my car and I'm wondering if there are clearance issues with it. Any insight here? Searching didn't bring up too much with my particular setup.

Got the same problem!

I have a n55 with the afe stage 2 magnum si (closed version) and my ac schnitzer strut brace didn`t fit anymore.

Now I`m thinking about getting the aa strut brace...

I hadn't seen that intake before, looks good! Does it stick up much more than the stock air box?
Very interested to see how you go as I have a AA strut bar.

I can measure the clearance between the bar and the stock air box for you, but I don't think there is much room.
You can always get the modified M3 strut brace.

Blurry picture, but there is about 13mm clearance at the closest point.

I have this strut brace on my n54 with afe intake and do not have any clearance issues at all. There is more than enough space on the n54. I know you said n55 but the main difference between the two intakes is where each cone is located. Replacing the intake on my probably free'd up space if anything because i no longer have the big ass factory box in the way. Ill take a pic of the clearance and post it shortly.

As you can see from the pic, the tightest point is touching the top of the open air box on the gasket. I was mistaken about my clearance but it still fits with the open air box. So i guess what i should say is good luck lol. Based on the other pic for clearance its prob gonna be a really tight fit :-/
