Going in for "Service" with mods on, am i OK?
My car told me i need "service" in 1300 miles but i got a call today from my SA asking when i would like to set up an appointment. i told her i would check my schedule and figure something out, but my car has aftermarket parts in it and I'm just not sure if i should put some stock parts back in before i go in... They said i only need an oil change, though. And I'm going to Crevier BMW, if anyone else goes there... I've got an air intake, JB4, an axelback exhaust and a catless downpipe.

If you are going in for an oil change, I would not worry about it. I did it several times and no questions asked.

I've taken my car in for an oil change with JB4 installed and just switched to Map 0 and I was fine.

Gotta say, what if they use the steering wheel controls to check and see if the JB4 chip is there? Just uninstall it. Can't comment on the rest but I wouldn't be caught dead at a dealership with an ECU chip piggyback or reflash.
