Picked up my 2013

I was finally able to pick up my 135i today.

2013 LeMans Blue
6 speed
M-sport
HK sound system (sounds great)
BMW assist

The only bad thing is when I was walking around to inspect it I noticed that the drivers headlight washer was sticking up a little more then it should. Put a little pressure and noticed it was really loose. Salesman took my info to the service department and ordered a new assembly and set a appointment to have it installed next week. Hopefully that's not a sign of whats to come for this car...

The loaner I had for the past 8 weeks had a DCT in it. I love the feel of the 6speed so much more. Of course I haven't really "driven" my car yet, so we'll see the difference after I break it in. I noticed the idle is more steady in my car then the car with the DCT. Not sure if that's the transmission or just the car itself..

I'll post pictures as soon as I can

Did they replace it? He said they placed a order for the whole assembly and they are going to switch it out. You think it will solve the problem? It was sticking up almost a good half inch above the bumper.

Yeah, they lent me a 135 with just about every option... They usually put stickers on the cars to advertise but he forgot on mine. It was a 2012 model, they tend to sell them for like 3000 off after they are done loaning them out. They had another one that they were trying to sell me before I ordered my car.

It was nice... I had to sign a contract that I could only put 3000 miles or less on it. Anything over and I would of paid 83 euro cents a mile.. I put about 1800 miles in 8 weeks.

Some things I've noticed from the first week...

-I love these sport seats... They are so comfortable and really hold you in place.

-My car idles so much smoother then the loaner they gave me with the DCT. I'm not sure if its because of the DCT or something was a little off in that car.

-I get great gas mileage compared to the loaner (I think one reason for that is the break in I'm still working on in my car) Although just driving on the short trips I was also driving in the loaner, my car still averages 19+ MPG vs the 12 MPG of the 2012 DCT.

-The run flats on my car are different then that on the loaner. Mine don't seem as harsh

-I'm still playing with the Harman Kardon sound system, but it sounds a lot better then the base system that was in the loaner.

Thats all I can think of for now.... I'll keep it updated as I drive it more

I wish it was that easy... Hard to do having a wife and two kids. Birthday parties, Halloween parties, kids soccer practice and the list goes on. I'll get there, it might take me a little longer then I'd like.

I did drive it a lot yesterday. I'm averaging like 26 MPG which I think is crazy since its not even broken in yet

I'm at 1500 miles... I have already installed a BMW Perforemance exhaust on it and changed the oil... Time to spend some more money. Whats next, wheels or JB4? Maybe powdercoat the stock 261's gunmetal then buy a JB4. I cant make up my mind....

I'm having the BMW performance exhaust installed at the port when mine arrives within the next week. Would be great to hear your thoughts on it....!

I love it so far!! I've put about 250 miles on the exhaust so far and I can hear the tone changing a bit. It was way to quiet for me without the y-pipe but I love it with it installed.

Nice car buddy love the blue.

Curious though, I am having my 135i delivered on December 15th and it's classified as a 2012 MY12, not a 2013 - how come people are calling 2012 deliveries 2013's?
