To Keep the Warranty or not

Purchased a 2009 N54 135i a few months back. Got a good deal on a 3rd party Zurich warranty (bumper to bumper). Car has 25,000 miles on it.

I want to keep playing around/modifying my car and am debating about asking for my refund from the 3rd party warranty (maybe 1,300 dollars) and applying that towards exhaust/downpipes or keeping the warranty?

I've called around to a few shops and they have said generally they only see water pump failures at that mileage up to maybe...40,000 miles when my warranty would expire.

I have a JB4 in my car as well and am torn between:
Keep the warranty
refund warranty and modify
keep the warranty and modify and then possibly have my warranty voided which would really suck

Any advice??

Garage List
I've never had good dealings with a 3rd party warranty, if it were me I would but the money you get back into the bank have it earn some interest for any repairs down the road.

I have maybe...1,200 dollars left I will get back for the refund.
The way my 3rd party works is I have a $200 deductible anytime there is a repair.
So #1: My repair has to be >= $200 or it doesn't affect me
#2: Even if my repair is $250, then I'll have only saved $50

So basically, Even with a warranty I still may have to spend a lot of money

Is the wastegate issue ever really occur before 40,000 miles? That seems to show up around the 50-60k mark.
