I think 19s look great - the problem is getting ones that fit and driving them only on perfect roads.

IMHO it all depends how you look at a car and how you drive it. that said, I personally dont prefer the look or the strain on performance by the 19's over 18's. probably doesnt help that i also visualize everything from an engineering perspective. but to all the merrier for those who like it!

Here's my logic when I wanted to change the wheels away from stockies. If you're paying for a wheel upgrade, might as well chase the following:
- A lighter wheel - A slightly wider wheel to fit a one size up in rubber - An opportunity to get rid of RFT's - A 1" upsize would be a more justified 'upgrade' (more visual appeal) - price difference is minimal If you're removing RFT's and putting on normal rubber on 19's, the ride quality will be better even compared to 18's WITH RFT's. So 19's with normal tyres > stock setup in both looks and ride compliance. If the roads you take are REALLY bad, or want something for the track, stick to 18's. Preferably something forged (or cheap second hand ones so you don't care about them getting damaged) with semi slicks.

I'm running m3 comp repros m3 offset +35 8.5x19 all the way around .. 225/35 front 245/30 rear with rolled and pulled fenders still rubs hard bumps and swoops on the road with just me. I have to get my alignment done ... Tow is way off will set it at zero and neg 2 camber .. From what I heard I will be back to stock settings.. The car is dropped on 1.5 springs.. Next step is shocks. I heard Joni yellows are the solution ...
