What do you reckon? Possible??

Thanks

I am surprised more of you 2010 owners haven't asked this question yet. Those new mirrors are and eye-sore at best.

Good luck finding out if you can change them. Try PM'ing Dan@United on here and see if he knows.

both should have the same electronics.
in the worst case the electonics arent the same.
the mirrors will def fit since 09 and 10 havve the same baseplates.

btw. I have m3 mirrors on my e46 facelift coupe.
m3 mirrors never came with the canbus system the facelift coupe has got.
So I cant use the electronics since 2 years.
Since I`m the only one driving the car I had to adjust them only one time.
so i did never need the electronics.

but on the 1 it should work!

I remember when the 135 first came out here people were complaining about the side mirrors being a bit small. I never thought there was anything wrong with their size.

Maybe BMW engineers took it a little too far and turned them into truck mirrors.

I'm not going to change my mirrors, but I do think they are a bit small on my 09.

because of a german law.
every new car that rolls out the factory in 2010 has to have minimumsize mirrors.
and the 09 mirrors were too small.thats why the e90 lci has bigger mirrors too.
or thats why the c-class has the big mirrors too.

They are more square and almost twice the size. They look like they came from an SUV. But I guess we will get used to them.

WOAH! I had no idea... its not that they look bad, but they are more awkward on the '10 vs. blending into the look of the car on the '09's

You should just go for it. Someone has got to find out if they're compatible. The E46 had three different types of mirror connectors throughout its lifetime (6-pin, 12-pin, and ribbon connectors), so it's no guarantee.
