Yep, my 135i Vert has been sitting at the port since the 29th waiting for an East Coast boat. Checked VIN today <May 5th> and still not on a ship, so it looks like I might be pushed back to the 8th boat? No idea why. Sad.

FWIW to fellow week 17'ers. As of this a.m. my 5/22 build date car was still listed as at the port waiting shipment with no further details on both OC and the 800 #. However, I just got an email from my dealer saying it left Germany 5/2 with eta Charleston 5/22. Direct dealer info seems to be several days ahead of other sources.

My car was listed as "Awaiting transport to the port of exit" for almost a week before it was finally listed as "At the port of exit awaiting a shipping vessel" where it has been now for almost 2 weeks.

They do cost about 50% more so perhaps they are giving preferential treatment to more expensive cars.

I hate to be the barer of bad news but if your car isn't on a ship yet and has to wait until May 9th to set sail it's probably not going to be there by the end of May. Unless it gets through VPC really quickly.

I hate to be the barer of bad news but if your car isn't on a ship yet and has to wait until May 9th to set sail it's probably not going to be there by the end of May. Unless it gets through VPC really quickly.

Dan, looks like you're even worse off based on your waiting time. I really would like to know if it's totally sequential. But I do hear you on the end May timing. Be honest, we should be so lucky....given how long those bimmers have been sitting at port...I assume that the prep centers aren't exactly empty either.

I just hope that i get on the TASCO today heading towards SC... as of now the 1800 number and the OC site both say that my car is still waiting for a boat... I have heard that it sometimes its a few days behind... I HOPE SO... i really really want my car!!!

I'm still sitting at the dock, too. As much as I want it to get here in May, I'm not in too much of a rush since the wife and I already have three cars at the moment. She doesn't turn in her old lease until July and I still have to sell my car, so long as the 1er is here by then....

My car also says "en route" on the website, but the 800 number now still says i am at the port waiting for a ship. And does anyone know how long it takes for your information to show up on the vessel tracking site? When i type in my vin (last 7 digits right?) it brings up no information...I am guessing that i am on the TASCO but i am not too sure yet...... i am just excited that something has finally changed...

i think we'll be getting good news soon. just got told by my sales rep that my car (which had been at the port awaiting a shipping vessel for 6-7 days) is now on the water, should arrive at the US port on 5/16. i'm sure some/most of us will be on the same boat.

I thought I'd be more psyched, but I think I've gone numb from all the waiting...

You need to enter your entire VIN on the WWL site. You can use your production order number or the last seven of your VIN with the 800 number.

Great news! I'm on the Mignon as of yesterday. Now I'll give it a rest for a while.....oh what am I saying; I'll be tracking 'er every step of the way! May 25/26 over under anyone?

Just got off the phone with my CA. He said that my car is on the ship and is scheduled to be on the east coast around May 16th (give or take). He also mentioned that I should be able to pick the car up around the 20th of this month.

Unfortunately, I will be on vacation until the 26th...so it looks like the car will just have to wait for me for a change.

Anyway, my car finished production April 24th and the 800 # and BMW's website says it's still awaiting a ship. Just give your dealer a call to get the most accurate information.
